Sydney Jameson was just getting off work at the FBI, she was intern for Technical Analyst Penelope Garcia. She had been called by Director Vance to come to D.C.

She didn't know why, but she hoped it wasn't to offer her a job, she had turned down five jobs this year. She wanted to stay with the FBI, even if it would take her a few years to get where she wanted to be.

After driving to D.C. she got out of her car and walked into NCIS. She was escorted up to the bullpen. The agent who escorted her told her he was taking her to Agent Gibbs' team. When they stopped she noticed three men and a woman sitting at desks, and a gothic woman standing at one end.

Sydney waved slightly at the team, "Hi...can anyone tell me why I'm here?" she asked politely, she was never one to be rude unless someone was rude to her
