In honour of last night's full moon and today's brilliant blue skies here in Sydney, we present Anita Iacovella's blind embossed work of vibrant indigo titled 'Cloud Bubble c'. Anita's process is a long and dedicated one: each work is a unique state, hand pulled through an etching press 6 or more times to build up the layers of ink on each sheet of paper. The emboss is hand cut with an old fashioned hole puncher and then pressed onto damp paper through a press. What appears as a work of simple shape and colour is in fact anything but.
