“It’s getting kind of late, don’t you think?” Saule looked outside, seeing it being almost pitch black. “Oh! I- uh- I’m sorry for holding you up so long! I didn’t mean to-” “No, no! It’s fine! I kind of enjoyed talking to you anyway.” Sylvie shot her a warm smile, making her gaze immediately shoot down to her lap, fumbling with her sleeves. The girl steadily stood up, giving the other a smile back. “I should, uh, leave then, huh? aha,,” “I suppose so, but before you do, I wanted to tell you something..” Sylvie stood up and walked over to her, and with care, pushed up the fabric of her sweater and held her hands. She stayed still, afraid of making any movement, just in case she hurt him by accident. “I… I’ve grown feelings for you.” Saule’s face heated up. There was no way he liked her back. “You’re.. You’re joking right…?” She asked, voice wavering. He just shook his head in response. “Do you maybe want to go to that library we saw a while back?” Short of breath and out of words, she nodded. Sylvie let her hands go and opened the door and, while she walked out, waved. “I’ll see you next week!”
