Happy Valentine's Day!
It’s one day short of Valentine's Day, but in the last weeks it’s been so overwhelming to see how much attention is paid to the loving Saint’s day in the media and in all the stores. Actually, considering I've been married for over 20 years, I think it's more a young people’s thing! But what's more fun than to surprise your loving husband with a sweet little reminder that love is in the air! I have ‘tuned’ one of the delicious caramel waffles from Daelmans with a cookie cutter. What other shape would be more suitable than a heart? The now cut-out, heart-shaped waffle is my small gift to him… Our schoolboard, which often serves as a serving tray is where I’ll present him my sweet message. When he comes for his morning coffee he’ll see my surprise! My small way of saying… Happy Valentine's Day! Liesbeth
