@corechaos sent ‘ fern ’ -- botanical headcanons : does your muse believe in magic or cosmic forces , or are they more likely to think their life is ultimately a matter of their own control ?
there is very little v doesn’t believe in ? does she believe that there is someone or something up there controlling things and helping move the narrative , no . but she does believe in putting feelings out there . she very much believed in karma , always had . be a bad person , get bad things to happen to you . it had been a staple in her life for the longest time until she entered the corpo world and watched first hand as money bought terrible people the happiness and safety others couldn’t afford . she doesn’t know if the two go hand in hand though . just because she hasn’t seen it , doesn’t mean it’s not out there . just because she’s never seen real magic , doesn’t mean it’s not there . she believe it absolutely could be . the world is too open there are too many people to believe that there can’t be one hint of magic somewhere out there . perhaps it’s the smallest bit of the child she never got to be that hopes to see something really amazing one day , something that’s a power because it’s a power and not because you had the money to buy it .
as for life being a matter or ones own control , she has no idea . she sees it as a maze of dominos lined up and there are a million ways to get to the end but if you hit the wrong bath , you’re going to fuck it all up and she’s trial and erroring it through hell . she definitely thinks there are chances to take control , to make it be of your own choosing , but she doesn’t think those chances are always accessible and reachable . v will always tell someone though if they want it , take it . because no one is going to give it to you and no one gives a fuck if want something if you don’t try for it . so she always encourages the try , by any means necessary .
