Sometimes I hop on Reddit to see what they’re doing and I see so many posts about RAMCOA not being real and how it’s a conspiracy theory. I’m not a RAMCOA system in any way but I’d like to address this.
A lot of people dislike the term “RAMCOA” itself. Saying the word is rooted in antisemitism. But… it’s an acronym describing abuse? Also I see so many people say there’s no way there’s that many evil cults, but it’s not ALWAYS a big horrific monstrous cult. It can be a job or a school or even a family. “Ritual abuse” does NOT mean a cult ritual, it means regularly scheduled abuse. And also, how do you know there aren’t many big evil cults?
Fakeclaimers also say “there’s no way to intentionally give someone DID! The abusers don’t intend to make a system!” Like… you’re right? DID itself is not the goal, dissociation is. The abusers don’t think “okay so today I’m going to make them split Alastor” they think “if I do this they become obedient”. (I’m sorry Alastor was the first example that came to mind) They don’t always care about the systems inner workings. Maybe sometimes they do, and that’s okay too. And not all dissociative disorders are DID. Not everyone gets alters from programming. There’s actually an entire separate disorder for that for you fakeclaimers who need proof people exist. It’s OSDD 2. The abusers don’t care what disorder the victim gets, they care about control and power.
Yes, many who speak up share extreme stories. But this shouldn’t discredit them. How do you know what they’ve experienced isn’t real? It’s so irritating that fakeclaimers will tell RAMCOA survivors their trauma isn’t real and is just a conspiracy theory, then turn around and tell endos they need horrific trauma. Which one is it?? How much trauma isn’t someone allowed to have or not have? Why can the internet decide if your life was real? Fakeclaimers claim RAMCOA victims and endos alike have psychosis. Your constant denial of their existence could very well push them into real psychosis.
Sorry I involved endos at the end, the message here is everyone should hold hands and gaster blast fake claimers
