i don't feel like finding the post, but at some point i was like "how many more milgram introjects will i get" and the answer so far is 3. it's so weird the way that my feelings on certain characters has changed because of having introjects now who influence the way i perceive their source characters at times. it's sort of embarrassing, but i guess i'm just going to make peace with it because there's nothing else i can do about it.

recently learned that our inner world has a cathedral and also a large graveyard that one of my parts tends to. it's pretty fascinating, but makes a lot of sense in a really weird way. we have a lot of trauma around death and dying, but at the same time growing up we experienced death or felt we were going to die/had died so much that it sort of felt oddly comforting at the same time. if that makes sense... i'm still trying to figure out what the cathedral is about though

🌨️ - do ur alters have specific voice claims for what they sound like in headspace?

🐠— nope, most of us think it would be way too hard and tedious to find someone who actually sounds like us. so we haven't really bothered doing so. everyone DOES have distinctive voices though, inside and outside.

🪷 - do you co-front with other alters often? is co-fronting easy or difficult?

🌻— hmm i think i'd say yes often! for the most part it's usually more of a 'one person controls the body and the other is leaning over their shoulder watching' situation, rather than 'multiple people are controlling the body at once'. we struggle a lot w the second example, but the first one is super super easy for us!

💧 - how does fronting work for your system? do u have a “front room”?

🐠— yaarrrr. our 'front room' is kinda hard to describe tbh. the waiting room described in the inner world answer is essentially the front room but also not really? but it's sorta like... whoever is in front can usually see that place in first person, and the co-fronters are seated somewhere in the room with them. some of us see the room in third person instead though (i'm one of them), i'm not really sure why that is or what it means. but whoever is in 'the front room' is 'somewhere else' but also still there on the couch with all of us. i don't really know how to explain it better aside from they're there, but they also aren't actually there. schrodinger's fronter... well i'm struggling to describe this more, so i think that's all i can say for now.

🌻— we do!!! i don't know a whole lot of it myself, because so much is inaccessible to me unfortunately. someone else might come and weigh in on it, but i do know that there's a sort of... lounging space? waiting room??? it's a completely white room with couches, chairs, a dresser, a coffee table (there's always different stuff on it), and a biiig plant that overhangs one side of the main couch. very comfy room... i also know that everyone seems to have their own bedroom in the inner world somewhere, but i've never seen past the 'waiting room' myself.

🐠— ^^ this is correct information. our inner world is very interior focused, and while there is an outside to it most of us don't really leave the house. some alters don't live in this house and they live elsewhere, but i'm not really sure where. the ones who live in this house have bedrooms here, and the ones who live 'somewhere else' obviously don't. trying to think too hard about it is giving me a headache though, so that's about all we can share at the moment.

🍀 - how do u communicate with ur headmates?

oh we typically talk to each other! for the most part it's internally, because it's something that can be done quick and on the fly. it's easier to just go "hey can someone deliver this message to so-and-so" than to write a note and hope they eventually see it. so i'd say our communication is primarily internal at this point.

though to be clear: when i say talking i mean it literally and non-literally. it just depends on what we're feeling atm? usually it's one person talking internally, and whoever is in front is talking verbally. that's the easiest way to keep things from getting really jumbled or hard to follow with internal thought streams. some people can communicate without words though (through feelings or images, or some other secret way) and that makes it easier to keep everything inside.

we still use sticky notes, and sometimes discord or simplyplural, to write out messages for each other. usually that's reserved for important stuff like appointment dates, while internal is more for actual conversations

🌺 - who fronts the most? who fronts the least?

our main guys are usually me (rory🐠), monika🌻, briar, and like 4 others? we switch a lot, and have a lot of anp as well, so sometimes nobody even notices. as for the least, we have several parts who have never fronted once in their entire time being here. they either perform their roles inside only, or they, on rare occasion, come into co-con for a bit and then leave.

basically anyone who isn't in briar's subsystem, or the main protectors, doesn't front often unless they're actually needed, they want to, or they get dragged up front.

🌸 - how many alters do u have? do u consider yourself to have a high headcount?

i've been told a few times by others what the actual count is, but i'm unsure if it's still accurate currently. atm tho i only know of around ~30 alters!! i'd say we're probably in the middle in terms of size??? not super super big, in terms of fully separate alters... but we do have a lot of fragments which are not counted

🌱 - do u have any introjects? what are their sources?

we doooo!! me personally, mine are monika (dokidoki lterature club) and mahiru shiina (mlgram) 💖

we have a few other mlgram introjects, and then a bunch of random sources. most of us aren't from the same ones aside from the aforementioned. some others incl hundred line and chobits, which we've mentioned before! if you're curious abt a specific fandom u can ask btw <3!!!

🍬 - has ur system created any rules ur alters are expected to abide by?

mhm!! one of the main ones regards spending money, bc a lot of us can be impulse spenders ehe... pretty much every rule that's in place is for our comfort/safety! the only other i can remember rn is one about not cutting our hair, bc we all agreed to keep letting it grow out for a while :3
