Hullo there! What's your favourite book?

hi! okay so i have a number of favourite books. the first is called when you reach me by rebecca stead. i have a very specific memory of reading this in middle school and being floored by it lol. it’s a science-fiction/mystery book where the main character finds a bunch of notes in her belongings and attempts to trace where they come from. i would still reread this now :c

secondly, i really like miss peregrines home for peculiar children by ransom riggs. bc i like to read creepy/horror stories, i really enjoyed this novel. it’s sort of complex at times to understand but the world within the story is so intriguing!

a more recent fave book of mine is frankenstein by mary shelley!! i have never seen someone write w such elegant description? the way she explains everything, from nature to character perspective, is so damn beautiful, i ate that shit up! i felt incredibly inspired after reading her work :(( *edit* i can’t post this without mentioning WARRIOR CATS. that series shaped my life lol.
