Letters | Lucius & Narcissa
Narcissa felt nervous -- more nervous than she had on her wedding day. She’d made a mistake, writing Andromeda. As good as it was to see her and daydream, Narcissa had been quickly reminded of just how hateful her sister was. She was willing to turn her back on her family and run off with some Mudblood, and as much as Narcissa wanted to put that all behind them and move on, she couldn’t. Seeing and writing her had drug up all sorts of old feelings. She’d sat on them for nearly a week before the weight of the emotions and the secret itself threatened to suffocate her.
She makes the decision to approach Lucius about it, figuring he’s the best one to talk some sense back into her. She knocks on the door to his study, throat tight. “Lucius -- a word, if you don’t mind?”
