pepper is silent as she sits down beside allison. morgan had finally drifted off to sleep which meant pepper could put her focus on other things, like her step-daughter. it’s been a draining last couple of days and though they have spoken here and there, they haven’t gotten the chance to just sit down and be together one on one. a comforting hand is placed on the girl’s forearm while a soft smile is offered. “how about i make us some tea? how does that sound?”
