🦋 Trumpet tree ( Tabebuia ) blooming all over Central Florida, a stunning symbol of our spring weather. This one is located near a Five Guys Burger and Fries, one of my go to hamburger stores. February 18, 2024.

My girlfriend doesn't like tabebuia trees because there's just dead yellow flowers everywhere.

They're pretty. The flowers feel really delicate in my hands. There's something poetic about a tree that only blooms for about two weeks per year, only to have its blooms just fall off and die.
