Huion H610PRO Tablet VS Turcom TS-6610 Tablet
Today I will be comparing two tablets that look exactly the same. I bought one of them and realized it was the wrong one so... COMPARING NOW.
The tablets: Huion H610PRO Painting Drawing Pen Graphics Tablet $72.99
Turcom TS-6610 Graphic Tablet $49.99
Lets get the obvious features out of the way. They look alike.
(Huion on the left, Turcom on the right)
They appear the same aside from one being more silvery and logo placement.
Both of the tablets have similar features:
Along the top of both the tablets are a series of numbers 1-16, which can be turned into short cuts that you can tap with your pen to activate, pretty cool.
The most difference they have is color, and one of the cords is a little different...
But function the same.
The biggest difference between models is....
THE PENS.
I will go from least important differences to most. (in my opinion)
First off. The stands for the pens are the same. both look alike and come with 4 extra nibs along with the little metal pincher thing that pulls nibs out from the pen safely. The Huion pen comes with a cap... for some reason.
Second, batteries. The Huion tablet pen comes with a built in battery, which will die out and need to be charged. At the end of the pen is a little hole where you plug in the extra provided cord to some USB port on your computer or otherwise. Mine died in about 2 weeks and I took an evening off to charge it. There’s a little red light under the buttons that glows. Eventually the light went away which I assume meant that it was fully charged.
The Turcom tablet pen is more like my first Turcom. It comes with a battery and you put it in like so.
Keep in mind this makes the pen a WHOLE LOT HEAVIER. Personally I prefer it. But not everyone does.
And now the most important difference: Sensitivity. The Turcom pen, is the most sensitive. Much like my last Turcom which I reviewed here.
The Huion pen is more like other pen’s I’ve used. The sensitivity is average and got me by in the time I had it. Nothing wrong with it.
In summary. The tablets are the same and I read that they’re both Huion based products, just renamed. Which is probably true. Both of the foam cut outs are the same. Even though the Huion pen doesn’t come with a battery it still has the slot for it...
In the end I would suggest the Turcom one. It’s less expensive and comes with an amazing pen. I hope this was helpful.
