Tablet/Slate Quality Time!!!
I finally done it! Actually, someone may have beaten me to it, but I still did it. I was talking about a free Android app called Write being vector based. I did a little experiment with it. I doodled like a lazy lard-ass on my tablet as usual. I exported the write files as pdf (svg if you dig deep into the app folders) and opened it in illustrator. I colored it to see if the line art is presentable. Sure enough it is! This is going to be a big time saver for me! It's also handy when inspiration strikes at the wrong place (e.g. Not at work where I need it the most! Mostly when I'm getting ready for bed or walking home. Yeah, inspiration can be a jack-ass.)
I may try to create finish artwork on the Write app itself. My goodness, I'm using a handwriting word processor as a sketching app. I am aware that Sketchbook and Layer Paint exists, I loved the latter, but I'm kind of addicted to a vector files' resolution independence. Dawww!
