Today I had the opportunity to talk with a group of people and amongst them was one of my biggest role models. It was a conversation about life, and how to properly live it. It was a conversation about a career, and doing work that pays the bills but at the same time excites me, and I can be passionate about. We talked about doing things that make me happy and surrounding myself with people who BUILD ME UP rather than bring me down. It was a conversation about taking risks and making mistakes, but at least putting myself out there for opportunity. It's amazing how a short phone call can open my eyes and change my entire perception of how life should be going. Today was amazing. And even if nothing comes of it, I'm excited it happened. And tomorrow I will be releasing my new single, "Tackle Life." It means more to me than any song I've ever written. It's perfect for how I'm feeling today. It's a song about everything that I stated above and then some. It's a song about how I fell and I'm finally starting to get back up. It's a song about starting over.
