mod question!! so yeah, sapphire killed taffy, but like.. how exactly? was that a fang attached to her teeth and she bit taffy’s neck? or was taffy slashed? asking for silly reasons
Great question! I'll try to explain so everyone can understand without having to dig for the relevant posts.
So something the Crystal Fleet were equiped with weer metal fang inserts in their mouth. Both for fear factor and for bitting attacks when in desperate need.
Here's what Sapphire's looked like.
Here is also an image similar to what I had in mind for what it looks like inside the mouth. If you ever had braces you may have worn something like one of these bad boys. Just imagine metal fangs being on the outter side of this.
So back to your question: Sapphire was captured and concealed her metal fangs, playing dead until the time was right. Taffy Fancy was distracted by a commotion outside the tent and she ceased the moment by rocketing up and tearing out his throat with the fangs. He didn't die right away, unfortunately, but he did pass in the end.
