Thoughts.
A cold wind cut through the night sky as a lone Pegasus sat on a stray cloud, his yellow coat and black with white tips mane moved slightly as the wind caressed his form. His green eyes stared out into the starless sky as he watched a small thunderstorm rage on in the distance. After a few minutes he let out a small sigh and laid down on his cloud.
“I wonder where it all went wrong,” he mumbled as he watched flashes of lighting dace in the distance.
“Maybe it was when I decided to run,” he rolled unto his back and stared at the inky blackness above him.
“I guess it doesn’t matter now, I am dead as far as they are concerned,” he looked longingly past the storm and into the distance as he felt a familiar pain in his chest.
“I was never strong enough to face my mistake, hell I doubt I should be even leading my own team now,” he let out another sigh and closed his eyes as a single tear made is way to the cloud beneath his head.
“I am a fake, a fraud who has been lucky so far… but I fear my luck is running out,” he sat up and looked around.
“And now I am talking with myself…come on Jay, get a grip,” Jay brought a hoof up and smacked himself upside the head.
With one last look into the distance he dropped from his perch and took flight back to the massive airship that loomed in darkness.
“I just wish I was not so alone.”
