“This is a judgement free zone.”
Luis stepped over the empty husk of a corpse on the cold ground. Damn — too late. Already drained. His sensitive nose had picked up the scent of blood in the air and followed it. Eyebrows raised as he eyed the man before him from head to toe, studying him. His words offered a brief glimpse into his personality, prompting a half smile to pull at Luis' lips. He didn't sense the presence of a vampire — unless he was a descendant of a subspecies he was unaware of — but the scene he'd walked into certainly suggested otherwise.
A grin spread across his lips. The lingering iron tang in the air had awakened his fangs, putting them on display for all to see. He held both hands up as he approached; that's what humans do to show they're not a threat, right ...?
“Who's judging, hermano? I smell blood, I come to drink blood. Simple as that. Just wasn't expecting a human to be at the end of the trail, that's all ... not every day that I come across a bloodsucker that isn't a vampire.” He casually dipped his hands into his pockets to retrieve a pack of cigarettes. Considered offering one, but not for free. “Well, whatever you are ... you gonna share ? I'm awfully hungry.”
