𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 : refugee camp outside glasswater
𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐒 : for Josefin Stoneward / @stoneward-princess
The noise... You could hear it everywhere.; outside the door, and inside Améla's head. Banging, pounding, and buzzing all too loud for Améla to center herself enough to connect to the earth. Incapable of connecting to the Earth, Améla was unable to move the remnants of the ceiling that now sat in front of the door to the room, or was it a closet she found herself in. Not that it mattered much to the Lady of Ashcraft, her central focus at that point was to figure what happen. One minute she had been descending the stairs, and the next, the ceiling crumbled down around her. Seconds would be all she had to react before she would have found herself crushed. She did her best to stop any debris from hitting her, but by the show of blood dripping down her forehead, she had not been successful. Gradually she found herself sliding down the door as the dizzy took over. Améla's eyes dropped down as her head drifted back to rest on the door. She just needed to rest some, and then she could get herself out, or at least that's what Améla thought.
Hours passed while Améla fell in and out of consciousness. Every time she woke, Améla could hear movement coming from outside the door. She tried to call out for help; however, every time she opened her mouth, barely any sound could be heard. Another hour would pass before Améla felt herself falling back into someone's arms. Finally, free, Améla suddenly found a burst of energy as her mind started flooding with all that she needed to do. First thing, find Jo and Alek. She needed to know the princess was safe and unharmed. However, every time she tried to get up, the Lady found herself forced to keep still. For however long it took for them to move her from the castle down to the refugee camp just outside of Glasswater, Améla demanded to be put down; demanded to be allowed to find the princess. Her demands were unanswered, and soon she had been placed with the other injured people. "Damn it!" She mumbled, her head falling back on the pillow as she started to feel dizzy one more. "I don't like this."
