Upon taking him back home, Beretta quickly found that she really liked this kid. He always wanted to impress her with what he could do, and when he couldn’t, he’d get easily frustrated. But what he couldn’t do physically, she would teach him what she knew about the world and educating him. So, whenever she’s away for long and extended periods of time, Mikhail gets easily frightened due to his abandonment issues, and because of this, he becomes the little imp in the Corsica household and more or less terrorizes the entire mansion - and it’s usually up to Sig and/or Colt to catch him before he pisses Corsica off. When Beretta returns, however, he stops immediately and rushes over in his wheelchair and gives her a hug. However, when the incidents became far too much, Beretta gently asked him why he was causing a ruckus, and Mikhail told her that he was terrified of being alone. Feeling a sense of pity and empathy for the boy, for she knew all too well what that felt like once, she reassured him that that would never be the case, not anymore at least. She’s made him promise that if he won’t fight anyone or terrorized the place when she’s gone anymore, that she’ll take him out to do whatever he wants ; he obliged.
She’s recently noticed that there’s a playful sibling rivalry between Mikhail, Colt and Sig, and at times, even Emilio ; she thinks it’s really cute. Sig sometimes gives him lollipops, Colt allows him to play with the stray cats that come near the mansion and Emilio had Mikhail try out being a DJ and make his own music. She recalls overhearing one night when the trio were telling him ghost stories and about the monster known as Krampus. Sig and Colt give him tags from the corpses of Twilights they’ve collected ; Beretta knows all too well that although they may never admit it, Mikhail’s grown on them just as much as he’s grown on her.
There are times when Mikhail has difficulty sleeping so Beretta sings him lullabies ; it soothes him.
Although she’s perfectly fine with his inability to walk and doesn’t mind pushing him around on his wheelchair for the time being, unbeknownst to most, Beretta’s threatened anyone who even looks at the boy the wrong way that she would utterly destroy them. She’s recently intimidated one of the scientists under Uranos Corsica’s payroll to getting a surgery ready to repair Mikhail’s Achilles Tendons - it could be prepared anytime now.
