It’s a rough-looking, homemade wooden boomerang. You’re pretty sure you’re not supposed to mess with it, seeing as Sticks doesn’t appreciate you touching her stuff in general, but that doesn’t mean you can’t look at it. From a distance. Where Sticks hopefully won’t think you’re plotting something.
Even though you think it’s rather primitive, you do have to admit that Sticks hits pretty hard with it. Plus, the fact that she made it-- and the rest of her weapons-- herself is pretty impressive. It’s... also surprisingly durable for being made out of wood.
And besides if you are careful and keep the clones a secret I'm sure it will be okay.

Tails ponders for a moment.
“Hmm... The potential results are either I get my work done twice as fast-- or more!-- ooooor I could cause some kind of disastrous, yet funny incident that Sonic will judge me for for the rest of time. Decisions, decisions...”

Huh. Well then. Tails looked the machine over, then hummed to himself.
“I’m still not sure if Sonic would forgive me for screwing around with cloning myself after last time... so I’ll hold onto this for a rainy day. Or, uh, for when he’s not around to judge my terrible life choices.”
He does put on a dapper top hat, though.

Tails kicked at the ground as he looked away. “I- I can sew a little. It’s pretty handy to be able to mend things besides just electronics... but I don’t want Sonic or Knuckles to make fun of me, so I pretend I can’t.”
