It's getting a little warm here in Chicago, so we've been working on a ice coffee. This is the Kyoto Ice Brew.
Recipe:
240gm of Ice 30gm of coffee, ground to just a little less than what you would do for a normal v60. I prefer something a little less acidic for this. Bloom with 48gm of water, because there's a lot more grounds there than usual. Brew with an additional 240gm of water, shooting for 3mins.
This makes a pretty light brew, not as thick as a cold brew, but really clean and fruit flavors shone with this set of variables. Want something a little more cold brew like? I'd say make the grind a little finer.
