Tilden Toots possesses a very large personality, a booming voice, and extraordinary talent when it comes to both Herbology and Potions. Though he’s only been out of Hogwarts only two years he’s already well on his way to making a name for himself. His last year of school he invented a potion, Toots’ Rejuicer, that revives dead plants. At the yearly Slug Club Christmas Party that year he was able to garner interest in the potion, even though it was yet to be perfected at that time. By Easter he’d not only perfected the potion but secured funding for his own line of potions for plants. Since then he’s gone on to produce several potions to help with various plant ailments. With his line of potions increasing in popularity he knows big things are gonna start happening for him. Not that he craves wealth or fame. He just enjoys sharing his knowledge with as many people as possible. The twenty-year old has seemingly unlimited knowledge when it comes to plants. It’s something he’s always been fascinated with. Like any good Ravenclaw he spent lots of time researching his favorite subject. A habit he continues to this day as he knows you can never stop finding new things to learn. With such an impressive store of plant based knowledge and a natural talent at potions he could easily have been a bit stuck up about it all. But even now as his popularity grows he remains good humored and friendly to all. There’s not a lot that can ruin Tilden’s permanent good mood. Not even when people don’t laugh at his terrible jokes, though most of the time they do because he’s just so happy telling them you can’t help but let his good mood rub off on you. At school he was president of the Herbology Club several years running, a member of Slug Club, and announcer for Quidditch matches. His voice carries so well that amplification was almost not needed. While he has a passion for plants he’s also very much a people person, enjoying the company of others almost as much as figuring out how to cure new plant aliments. When he was in third year Professor Sprout, commenting on his talents, said it was as if he had three green thumbs. It was a comment she repeated often his remaining time at Hogwarts. He liked it so much Tilden had it put on his potions. Though the people in marketing thought it would sound much better “Tilden Toots, the man with three green thumbs.” On meeting him there have been some that have been sorely disappointed to find out that he has only two, very non-green, thumbs.
