"I trusted you!"
Send Me One Of The Following
"Aye, you trusted me," Legolas hissed. "You trusted me to wait like a fool whilst you threw yourself into danger." As he spoke, the flap of the satchel he was clutching slapped rudely against his chin. The scent of basil and steel rose from the opaque glass containers inside. Questions rose to the tip of the Elf's tongue as he ran, but he fought them down. Even the urge to ask why they had risked life and limb to steal this satchel was suppressed.
Behind them, gunfire rang out, harsh and loud. Legolas pushed himself to run faster. "I will not be left behind like a child," he said between breaths. Burlap chafed against his wrists as he clutched the satchel tightly. "Son of a king, lord of a city, left to cower in the bushes while his friend serves as a distraction. 'Tis madness."
Men shouted in the distance. Dogs barked and growled. In his mind's eye, Legolas could see their teeth flashing white in the midday sun, their hackles raised, poised for the hunt.
He gritted his teeth. "And I expect an explanation for this," he added. Anxiety and exhaustion made his voice sharp, angry. "I will not run headlong into danger for you without knowing why I am risking life and limb for a package filled with black glass."
"What have you done?!"

Legolas leaned lazily back in his chair, folding his arms. "'Tis unwise, in warfare, to leave one's assets unguarded," he said. "Had the peanuts been troops, you would have lost the war whilst you were away fetching drinks." There was a hint of amusement in his voice, a satisfied smile on his lips. The bowl of free peanuts sat empty on the bar beside him.
"You may always purchase another bowl," he added, seeing the way Adam squinted at the place where the peanuts had been. Salt and flaky peanut skins stood out in stark contrast with the black bowl in which the nuts had been served. "But then, of course, they would no longer be free of charge."

Friends are gonna be hard to come byLeft us wonderin' what it all was aboutHe had it easy, man he chose the hard way / walk that old, lonely road in the shadow of a doubt
from here on out ☐ THE KILLERS ( battle born )
For a man who is incredibly smart, his social skills are shit. He sometimes just doesn't know how to communicate and it's not that he's Autistic - he just has difficulty trying to tell people what's going on in a personal level. Work related and anything relating to the ship - he has no problem; in fact, he can talk quicker than anything. It's just that he spent a good solid chunk of his life alone and pretty much anyone or thing that tries to talk to him and ask him how he's doing--well, that's where it goes wrong. However, that was before he got on the Enterprise with the crew he can now call his 'family'.
Now, he rarely shuts up whenever he sees someone he does call family. In fact, the people he often talks their ears off are Leonard McCoy, Jim Kirk, Nyota Uhura, Pavel Chekov, Dana Magdaleni, Hikaru Sulu, Carol Marcus, Temperance Shaw and Keenser. He faces a little bit more difficulty trying to talking to Spock--that being because he feels like that little sass-off on the bridge was uncalled and unneeded and that Spock still might hold this resentment of a mouthy Scotsman. But yet again--he chose to be alone.
He chose to walk alone, to work alone. So, while he is content of being a friend to the Captain, he would rather be alone and worries that it might cause some alarm for his family. But he's fine.
Doesn't mean he isn't loyal to Kirk, because that's not even close to true. In fact, he's more loyal to Kirk and would let the Enterprise die than watch James Tiberius Kirk die. Kirk after all, was the person who saved him from Delta Vega. He may get quiet, but he really is one of the most loyal people on-board. After everything is said and done, he really remains loyal to the ship and the lovely people on-board.
Just prefers the engines to people sometimes.
▓
I'd want to touch his armor. Would he mind? I hope not, because I'd touch it anyway, and if he snapped at me I'd probably cry. (Actually, I would cry.) In theory, I'd want to be his friend -- I mean, he's immortal. That's pretty cool, and he seems like the kind of person who would get me into trouble -- which the prospect of scares me, but I know in the end it would be good for me. He seems like the kind of person who would nudge me out of what semblance of a comfort zone I have and force me to try new things, even though they make me uncomfortable. Like -- eating raw cookie dough, and jaywalking.

♥ - What does ‘love’ mean to them?
From what he’s experienced, love is needing someone, but having enough self-control to be okay without them. It’s not being completely dependent, but allowing yourself to be carried when you can’t do it on your own. It’s also give and take. Not expecting everything to be returned in kind, not stacking up what you owe to each other— just letting what happens, happen and moving on.
✓ - How do they react to praise?
Surprise, generally. He’s not good at much. He can sing well enough and he makes a damn good cup of coffee, but that’s really all he can find in himself that’s praise-worthy. So it surprises him when others notice it, too, let alone praise him for it.
✕ - How do they handle rejection?
Depends on what type of rejection. Personal rejection leads to a lot of emotional output, but if it’s physical or social, it generally doesn’t affect him.
♔- Do they value loyalty?
Hell yes. With all the things Alan’s done over the years, he does. If someone can stick by him, even after seeing the shit trail he’s left in his wake, they’re a keeper.
♕ - Do they trust easily?
Alan’s generally very wary of people. The paranoia adds onto it and makes it very hard for him to find anything good in a person right away. It’s because he immediately looks for the bad that he can’t trust easily.
