I wanna say Hi to Tumblr, and kinda appologize for radio silence for two weeks.
Don’t worry if you didn’t notice - It’s Tumblr, it’s easy to miss of an infrequent poster doesn’t show up in your feed for a while.
TL;DR - My cat died on July 7th. She was over 15, and had been getting weaker for a few months, so it wasn’t a surprise.
The biggest problem is that I sub quite a few kitty and cute animal feeds here on Tumblr, and, well - going through my feed these two weeks would have been more draining than energizing.
I also had a bad cough a week before Lilly passed, and it turned into laryngitis (likely due to crying). Both are only now getting better.
Plus, work has been physically exhausting, on top of everything.
BUT....
I went to my local Humane Society today! Fridays are the only day they’re open after my shift, and I wasn’t up to it before this week.
I’ll have pics of Etta, the new little beauty I hope to gove a safe home to - when she comes out from under the bed. ^-^ She’ll let me pet her, does a lot of kneeding, and purrs under there. I think my bedroom is just... BIG to her right now. lol
