Challenges of being a start-up
In this short posting, we will talk about a couple things about what's being a start up.
As you know, being a start-up is one of the biggest challenges there is. We are creating something new, that is responding to market needs, or to address a particular situation. Therefore, we have to justify our existence every day.
At the same time, we have to be in permanent contact with the community, our clients, and opening new opportunities in the market to further our business. Simultaneously, we are learning about ourselves. We are testing our limits, our capacity, while refining our business model, seeking for efficiencies and increase productivity.
We are sure that every entrepreneur goes through these struggles on a daily basis.
In order to move forward, the have identified that there are two key components need to achieve success: leadership and talent. Not always you can have both, a great leader and a talented team. In most cases is one or the other.
Our message to new entrepreneurs is that they should be in permanent collaboration with their community, their clients and team. The more clear the expectations, needs and capacity of the team, the better they will be able to achieve sustainable success, and not just a onetime hit.
