I'm thinking bout minoring/double-majoring in communications or just dropping my psych major in general to pursue a degree in communications bc the rhetoric n communications chair (even tho this was a general email to everyone else who was nominated) said that I show rly gr8 potential for being a communications/rhetoric major bc I got a perfect score on my FYS portfolio n was nominated for some award n like I've always been super good at writing essays n arguing n stuff so like? if I'm good at it I might as well major in communications n like do something in journalism or marketing but I also rly love psychology n I'm passionate bout bringing more awareness to how psych in general typically caters to white ppl n stuff but like is what I say gonna be recognized in the psych community since I'm a WoC?? what am I gonna do w a psych degree if I'm too poor to continue to grad school like?? these struggles
