“Godzilla’s Rampage” on the Talking View-Master (1978)
“Godzilla’s Rampage” is an original story made for the View-Master that involves Godzilla attacking Seattle. Much of the art is lifted straight from the Marvel comics (without credit to Marvel or artist Herb Trimpe). The story itself is a surprisingly faithful adaptation to the original “Gojira” film, but obviously toned down and condensed.
“Godzilla’s Rampage” is available as both standard View-Master reels as well as Talking View-Master reels. The box set also includes a small story and activity booklet with a more detailed version of the tale.
