Talzy’s Neopets Lookup
The first to fall were the cities: city people didn't know how to care for themselves. They couldn't feed themselves without power – but the same couldn't be said for those living on the outskirts. Trella and her rolling hills filled with ripe fruits and wildflowers, her famous apiaries and love of all things wild…well, she was alright. The poisonous plants, nauseating clouds of pollen, and even the dreaded ManEaters seemed to stray from her land. She were left alone without a soul in the world to answer to for many, many years. It was lonely, but after some time, Trella grew bitter and protected her home with all the indignancy of a child hiding a great secret.
Her friend in Rio De Janeiro said so many had fallen ill – before communication was closed, of course. But Trella knew the secret; her bees were blessed. Even though the human world around them had fallen apart, to the bee – the world was the same. Trella lived her life like the bee, going about her duties and toiling away at her land without much of a care what happened to those who had shunned her gift.
A group rolled into her remote homeland with hopes of escape; and when a nosy scientist began poking around her apiaries the welcome wagon had run out. They sought to disrespect her family and their efforts of working the land with their high-tech solutions and haughty attitudes. But a cure is a cure…Trella knew all along she had it. She had said it as a child, before the first spore took root: the cure for the earth comes from within the earth. Now, whether the simple "farmer girl" as she had been called will care to share her secrets with the city dwellers – that's another story. Maybe the picture of intelligence looked a bit different than they had all expected.
Remember how we said we’re working on the Dia Da Terra plot? c: Talzy is the newest addition - and she’s plays a pretty big part. She is a beekeeper in Brazil, like generations before her and with her help (and a talented botanist), the survivors just might be able to make it out alive.
And on a side note, a terrible shame that Vandagyres can’t be customized more. They’re so cute.
