Duo week day four: Narrative Parallels

These two! these two... Honestly, I think either prompt works for them, with a slight bias for the one I chose. Gods, they even dress the same. I was hoping to save a version of the drawing but with the canvas flipped so Tam's in Erin's spot (hence the two signatures), but it didn't work out. Interpretation of the prompt: Somewhat obviously, the two are positioned in a way that's meant to mirror the Ying and Yang symbol, but there is also significance in their posture, with Erin being awake and ready to fight back against the void dragon, and Tam being relaxed and fast asleep, showing he's willing to let the light dragon come and go as she pleases.

I made an island in the Tomodachi Life dedicated to the webcomic ‘Aurora’. Here are some things that have happened so far:

Erin and Falst immediately didn’t get along

Alinua and Kendal became friends by talking about Primordial Life

The Miis have formed an OSP fan club

As soon as I made Dainix the first thing he said was that his eyes (eye) are (is) his least favorite feature of his face. I nearly cried

Dainix also has a really good Primordial Life impression

Tess fell in love with Kendal immediately but I said no

Tess is a gym bro

Erin and Tam have void and light dragon pets respectively

Theia has fallen in love with Tynan, for some reason

Ok Theia just fell in love with Tam too tf. Ok now she only likes Tam

Dainix was sticking his butt in a bonfire

Erin cheered up Void Erin by plotting to take over the island

Erin had a dream about floating asleep in water. Topical!

Vash went to Oceania and swam with da fishies

Erin and Kendal became friends by saying he looks like Vash, which uh yeah. He does.

Kendal and Erin were talking about how much the Void Dragon loves starmetal

My art for day 4 of @aurorabigbang’s duo week! For the theme of opposites/narrative parallells, I chose to draw Tam and Erin (or perhaps the void dragon and light dragon…)

This is in a notably different/simpler style than the others, but it was quite fun to make!

I had planned to do him and other characters AFTER I completed the floof squad, but I realized just how poofy his hair was and became entranced.

Like I've mentioned Falst's portrait is next as I've sketched it already and just need to digitize it, and then I'm deciding weather to do Alinua or Erin next, or perchance a poll, who knows.

Might go back and refine this later but for now, I just had to get this concept out of my head lol.
