I would like to see a society where people operate on the basis that everyone is responsible but nobody is to blame. Where if there is a problem, the focus is on solving the issue, and not on pointing fingers and finding scapegoats. I would like to see a society where people are kinder and gentler to one another and ourselves, without being indulgent. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, we assume that people have compelling reasons for behaving badly, instead of just being “bad” people. I would like everyone to treat others as they would like to be treated. I would like to see a society where people can and do regularly take time out to take care of themselves: exercising, cooking and eating healthy food, and spending time in quiet reflection.
