A comforting dessert made with tapioca pearls that are slowly cooked in milk until they get thick. Sugar is added to make it sweet, and vanilla extract is used to flavor it.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup small pearl tapioca. 4 cups milk. 1/2 cup sugar. 2 eggs, beaten. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: In a slow cooker, combine tapioca, milk, and sugar. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. In a small bowl, whisk some hot mixture into beaten eggs, then return all to the slow cooker, stirring well. Cook for an additional 20-30 minutes until pudding thickens. Stir in vanilla extract. Serve warm or chilled.
