One of the worst inconsistencies/lore contradictions I’ve come across has to do with the Dalish Origin

They expanded Marethari’s lore in the World of Thedas, which states that she became Keeper of clan Sabrae in 8:82 Blessed after the previous keeper passed away.

…The previous Keeper was Mahariel’s father. Mahariel was born not long after their father’s death, so that would make Mahariel canonly 47-48 years old in 9:30 Dragon (the beginning of the Blight)

It’s a very obvious mistake/inconsistency, but also, imagining Ashelle and everyone treating an almost 50 year old like a baby and calling them Da’len all the time is very funny to me

I know the real answer is ultimately 'because it's inconvenient for the plot of the game', but do you ever just think about how Riordan had the materials and capability to make one more person a Grey Warden, but only takes it if Loghain is spared?

You're telling me that in a Landsmeet full of skilled warriors and literal knights (+ the Warden's obviously very capable companions) that he didn't even suggest that "hey maybe we could still make another Warden because there are only three of us in this entire country during a blight?"

I haven't plugged this on my new account yet, but I've uploaded two hours of footage specific to the Fenris romance (with a default Marian Hawke, mage)

I plan on doing all the romance combos with Marian because sometimes I find Marian content harder to find. I'm currently working on a a Merrill friendship romance run!

If you’re insisting that the only Crow house that is problematic is House Arainai, we clearly have not been playing the same games. Even in Veilguard, Lucanis and a de Riva Rook both mention the abuses they went through during their Crow training.

It’s okay to like the fictional morally grey assassin’s guild- it doesn’t make you a bad person.

If in your AU, the Crows are a rag tag Robinhood-esque organization, that’s fine! Do what makes you happy!

BUT- if you are condescending to people and making things up (ie: House Arainai was exiled from Antiva by the Crows for the things they did) to support your interpretation, I’m going to assume you have a very limited understanding of the Crows and also a superiority complex.

I’m a little shocked at this point- as much as I dreaded coming back to Tumblr bc I remembered it being full of toxicity and lacking a lot of fandom etiquette, I’ve had zero problems so far

I just had someone condescend to me on a random untagged Bluesky post I made. The post was essentially just me shouting into the void about being sad that Zev’s Crow vengeance plot was dropped. It wasn’t hurting anyone, I didn’t tag anyone from Bioware, and like I said- I added zero tags, so it wasn’t showing up in tag searches. They literally had to go out of their way to interact with post

I’m sure there are insufferable ppl on here, but I’m pleasantly surprised that this is the chillest platform I’ve been using recently
