Archimedes is one of the wards that Togami hasn’t explored much, and while there are some areas that are undoubtedly not for him -- Dionysus’ Chalice, for example -- he finds himself drawn to a trail of flowers leading him off the beaten path, beautiful buds leading to a blooming bed. However, he notes that the more he walks, the narrower the path becomes, eventually leading to a very, very steep cliff. He’s only able to gaze at it for a moment before he feels a bit ill; the mere thought of stumbling and plummeting to a certain doom causing him to instinctively take a few steps back. He’s never been good with heights, and the wave of nausea leads him to sit down for a bit, finding a spot among the flowers where his clothes won’t get too dirty.
...It’s peaceful. He hadn’t intended to sit any longer than was necessary, but now he almost doesn’t want to get up -- as no one else is there, he finally finds silence. If only for now, his busy mind slows down; gears constantly turning, for once he can put behind his worries, his research, his everything -- and just be. Focus on the gentle breeze blowing through his hair, on the light scent of the flowers, on the clear blue sky dotted with clouds. His attention is elsewhere, and as such, he does not notice the young woman entering the clearing, looking over at him a bit inquisitively. Normally prickly aura dissipated, he almost seems approachable -- and if she does speak to him, perhaps he’ll be willing to entertain her. Perhaps.
It had taken some months and hard, long nights, but the church within Archimedes was finally ready. Light dappled down through stained glass, filling images of old days and harsh trials with radiant colour. Pews had been remade and reset; the door put back on its hinges and oiled, for good measure. There was still a hole in the roof somewhere, now a home for pigeons and wayward flocks. It was not perfect, but it brought something to Shirou’s eye.
And, no sooner did that emotion spring that footsteps echoed down the hall, dashing it back to some place dark.
Turning, the priest offered his most accommodating (and well practised) smile. “Welcome to East Saint’s church. If there’s anything you need, simply--” The words caught, unspoken, in Shirou’s throat. It had been months and the few ties he had back in the last city had either disappeared or forgotten. Yet, even as they left, he remained and remembered. This was one figure he could never forget. “Martha?”

Halloweenosuke, trick or treat!!!
Ogata creaks the door open, just a little bit, peeking from behind it. Recognizing Martha he steps out just a little bit.
“ …wasn’t this a thing for kids...? ”
“…does rice work?
❝ I have heard them say that games as these are rigged. Yet in many cases, I have seen others walking by with prizes, ❞ she speaks forwardly, eyes lifting to glance through the several plush sea creatures that line the shelves. the booth in question seems one meant to rely on strength, whether through a large mallet and or fists. somehow it seems perfect for the fellow saint beside her. ❝ Still, I am glad there are those who can overcome them. Was this the one you were interested in trying, Saint Martha? ❞

THE LATE-SUMMER SUN IS BANGING ON THIS BATTLEFIELD. Four Heroic Spirits, Four Riders, Two Teams, One volleyball and no team names because no one here is capable of conjuring one that’s not pure second hand embarrassment.
Cue a short exchange between the 4 Servants before the off:
“WELL, THIS TEAM HAS GOD ON ITS SIDE. WE CANNOT LOSE.“

“Okay, I’m here!” His voice rang out in the empty church, the echoing making it boom. This would be a good place for recording acoustics, he thought. Still, he wheeled in what appeared as a bundle of things held inside a cart.
“Miss Saint? Miss Saint. I’m here. I brought my cleaning equipment with me. Where do I start? Some of these corners are looking dusty.” His voice continued to echo. It appeared that he was still speaking only because he found it entertaining.
“Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~. I’m heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere~.”

As dawn was soon approaching, the vampire needed to find a place to stay. While she was always warned to stay away from churches it was the only public place around. Every other building around was securely locked down so with no other options, she opted for the church.
Sneaking in through an unlocked window, Flandre found herself within the sanctuary of the building. Helping herself to some ‘snacks’ from behind the altar as well as the cloth from the altar itself, she sought out a distant pew to get some sleep.
