The title is from a song by Sugarland called Something More. I personally am not a country music fan except for a few very specific exceptions including early Sugarland albums and Lily Rose. Jade runs the family farm which grows strawberries and they raise bees

There are two cows, two horses, and five chickens and OF COURSE a dog (suggest names please!)

She has a really simple home, and isn't in there much except to eat and sleep, but it has a big bed and a fireplace, and a wall insert bookcase because (before he died) Ballantine loved to read

After Ballantine died Boorman started coming over to help maintain the farm and the land and just never quit showing up, Jade has no idea what he actually does to earn money

Elora is an elementary school teacher in town and is constantly buying strawberries and honey from Jade for her baking projects

Mims and Willow run a grocery store with a cute little attached reading area and coffee bar and craft area

Kit is a romcom style business person. What's the business? no clue my guy, but when has that ever been important

I was actually really surprised by the answers to that poll!

So my idea so far, which is still kind of half-baked since I still have a lot to go on Little Less is based around my own experiences growing up in Tae Kwon Do. However, I didn't have my romantic experiences there so don't even think about it. (just one of my first baby crushes).

The romance aspect I was thinking of like an adult Jack and Kim in Kickin' It (Olivia Holt in that was my gay awakening). So teasing kind of acknowledging their crushes quickly, but not being willing to do anything about it. Sparring partners in my martial arts experiences have a very particular and special kind of relationship and I want that to be the focus before any of the smooches happen.

So that's the idea so far, if you have an idea or a suggestion or a question feel free to send me an ask. I have a lot of thoughts but not any structure yet so you never know you might see it come up!
