Now the bottom needs protecting and the seams between the finishes need to be smoothed over as much as possible, so on go several more coats of clear. This time I added the same amount of water as I did of the cross linker (roughly 3% by volume) when I mixed it, and it seemed to level out a whole lot better for me. There are definitely some imperfections, but hey, it's the bottom.
