I don't see how not wanting people to mess with your art is homophobic? Someone literally took kishi's art and changed it without her permission. That's rude, it doesn't make her homophobic to point that out and say she doesn't like that.

It's also incredibly rude to say that the person who sent you and ask in Russian clearly has ties to Kishi and bowandbrush. Kishi may be Russian but every time she types in Russian it doesn't look like that. It looks like this:

It is clear to me that you cannot stand anyone who has differing views than you. You are upset that bowandbrush is a Christian. A screenshot you posted just proves how she's not homophobic or transphobic. Her response to being asked if she'd be friends with a trans person was incredibly mature.

On top of that, it is her blog to share whatever she wishes. Block and move on. Stop making posts about these people who are just trying to live and enjoy their lives. She's not harming anyone. She's not pushing her beliefs, she's just sharing her thoughts and opinions same as you.

That said, you don't even have your facts straight because if you had read any of my posts about mrabubu/Kishi being an anti-LGBTQ+ bigot, you'd know that no one had edited, defaced, or whatever her artwork. Someone just commented with "Y/N:❌️ Usagi:✅️" and that resulted in her rage spiraling and making many, many, many rants about how she's totally not homophobic all while being incredibly negative and spiteful toward any and all queer representation in the (Rot)TMNT fandom. Then, in the midst of all that ranting, she co-signed a homophobic tirade made by taringill/Vika and the rest is history.

I guess you're referring to when someone, likely a supporter of either mrabubu/Kishi or taringill/Vika, sent me a lovely, hateful message in which they called me homophobic slurs, around the time I made my first post criticizing them and bowandbrush/Lexie...

Yeah… They're both Russian, homophobic, and mrabubu/Kishi already had a fan basically pull this sort of stunt in the past on her behalf, too… So, um… Yeah, it's safe to say that message came from their fanbases.

A person being transgender isn't a "lifestyle/belief" that can be disagreed with, it's a fact. Anyone who agrees with the above post wouldn't be a true friend to any trans or other queer person with the bigoted convictions they hold regarding such identities.

I'm upset that bowandbrush/Lexie is a homophobic and transphobic Christian. Being Christian doesn't inherently make someone homophobic/transphobic/anti-LGBTQ+. There are lots of Christians who are pro-LGBTQ+, affirming, and are openly LGBTQ+. I've said before and I'll say it again, even though, it should go without saying: any belief system that condemns marginalized people for simply being who they are is a deeply flawed belief system.

Okay, well, it's also my blog, so I can criticize whoever I wish. You also could’ve just blocked my account and moved on instead of sending me this asinine message. Us LGBTQ+ TMNT fans are just trying to live and enjoy our lives and would rather not engage with homophobes/transphobes when we're trying to momentarily escape the harsh realities of the anti-LGBTQ+ world we live in. The beliefs, thoughts, and opinions she half-heartedly attempts to hide are harmful and cause a lot of suffering for us LGBTQ+ people.

To be honest, I was blown away that someone, outside of my friends on discord, liked my lines enough to want to try and color them so it was a very pleasant surprise to find. I'm even more happy that it helped you in some way, you have a fantastic style and deserved all the praise and more. <3 Sometimes it's hard to love what we create and it's okay, those feelings can be very normal. No. I have nothing against this character, I'm not a hater, but I also don't understand the whole fanclub that has formed around him:/ This does NOT mean that I will never paint a Pawbert, rather no than yes. I just didn't like this character very much.

while I'm not encouraging homophobia or any sort of discrimination, you claim that everyone can headcanon whatever they want, but then get upset that this person says Leo isn't gay? what they said about they video they watched is right... it's stereotypical and saying he's gay purely after that just feels... wrong. personally I normally make him pansexual in whatever I do.

personally I don't ship Leosagi, but that's not because they're boys, it's just because I don't really know Usagi and what I do know I don't believe fits Leo. but that's just me.

I assume you're mostly talking about this post I made about both anti-LGBTQ+ TMNT fan artists bowandbrush (aka Lexie) and mrabubu (aka Kishi): "The (not so) Thinly Veiled Anti-LGBTQ+ Bigotry in the TMNT Fandom (ft. mrabubu and bowandbrush)."

Either you didn't read the entire post, including the alt text/image descriptions for each screenshot I provided, or you did read everything, yet chose to purposefully omit all the evidence I provided that points to their clear animosity and discriminatory attitudes towards LGBTQ+ people.

This isn't about petty disagreements over ships and headcanons, it never was, and that had been elaborated on in all my posts about bowandbrush/Lexie and mrabubu/Kishi.

bowandbrush/Lexie likes posts that claim that trans women shouldn't have access to women's restrooms (transmisogyny) and that homosexuality is sinful and unnatural (homophobia).

mrabubu/Kishi has shown near constant antagonism towards queer representation and interpretations in the fandom and has amicably agreed with hateful rhetoric (spewed by lesser-known fan artist taringill/Vika) that describes such representation/interpretations as being “schizophrenic nonsense,” and “hallucinations and fantasies" among other egregious claims. Which was also noted by these people on Twitter when it all went down:

Both bowandbrush/Lexie and mrabubu/Kishi have, in their own cowardly ways, expressed enough bigoted views towards marginalized peoples (i.e., LGBTQ+ people) for it to be an issue that the many pro-LGBTQ+ fans in the TMNT fandom should be warned about so that they can avoid them as well as other anti-LGBTQ+ bigots.

As I have a small platform, one post won't be enough for people to catch on to all their bigoted bullshit. To get as many eyes on their bigotry as possible, every so often I make sure to post something reminding people that they hold these dangerous views that work to oppress marginalized peoples.

These aren't harmless, victimless "opinions" that bowandbrush/Lexie and mrabubu/Kishi hold. These attitudes translate into policies that leave LGBTQ+ people without rights, without homes, without care, and without support. They create communities where LGBTQ+ people are alienated, ostracized, and imperiled. It's no hyperbole to say that these hazardous mindsets can be a death sentence for LGBTQ+ people, whether due to lack of affirming health care or vicious hate crimes.

That's how the rhetoric these two bozos peddle result in real, tangible harm against LGBTQ+ people, people that are quite abundant in the TMNT fandom on Tumblr.

As it turns out, most LGBTQ+ folks like myself aren't too keen on being chummy with or platforming bigots who stand against our representation, rights, and welfare. And, it isn't harassment to hold bigots accountable for the bigotry they've expressed publicly.

You can keep your shallow platitudes and well-wishes to yourself, and I hope you can look inward over this whole issue and realize that you're indeed enabling homophobia/transphobia when you send messages like this.

You know guys, for a while I had the option to block anonymous users on Tumblr, but I don't know why I can't block them anymore.

And honestly, I don't want to remove anonymous questions, because they're the ones I get the most, and I know many users are comfortable with the anonymous option.

I guess I'll just have to keep putting up with receiving user responses, because well… I don't really have a choice. I don't usually mind receiving objective criticism, and I don't blame anyone for thinking other artists are better than me; it's a perfectly valid thought. But this is pure, unfounded hate.

Although this might have affected me worse in the past, now I know it's just trying to fuck me over.

If what you want is to give these artists more publicity, that's fine, just don't bother me with comparisons (Seriously, WTF)

For those of you who don't know a lick of Russian, this can be roughly translated into something like: "Go fuck yourself, you faggot, you're fucked up" or "Fuck you, you fucking faggot motherfucker, for fuck's sake."

Regardless of the exact translation, it's safe to say that this message is incredibly hateful and homophobic in nature. Therefore, it only makes the Russian Tumblr users and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan creators I recently identified as homophobes, mrabubu (aka Kishi) and taringill (aka Vika), look even more homophobic (see my post Mrabubu is an Anti-LGBTQ Bigot, for details). Especially since Kishi's fanbase has been known to pull this exact sort of stunt in the past. Talk about a one trick pony! Am I right, or am I right?

So, how do you exonerate yourself and/or your friends when being accused of being bigoted? Why, just double down and be even more bigoted! Duh!

Folks, let's show a round of applause for these lovely, very intelligent, and totally not homophobic individuals!
