I knew early on in coming up with these cards that I wanted Miranda to be the Moon. Especially depicted her as her hallucination/ghost version since this card is all about illusions, dreams and the unconscious. I am doing nothing to help settle the arguments as to whether the ghost in Black Sails are real sorry

The ferrofluid concept is so cool. I wanted to show it interacting with the environment in a way that reflected its traits.

The Emperor

⬆️ Upright: stability, authority, focus, control, discipline

⬇️ Reversed: lack of discipline, tyrant, recklessness, rigid, domination

In Brasil, every little bar/restaurant in small cities in the countryside have a street dog that is caramel color and is adore by everyone that goes to the bar/restaurant.

He is not abandoned, everyone in the neighborhood will take care of him. There will be a little dog house in the side walk with a bowl of water and food.

He will have a chair just for him and he will be chonky because no one can resist the puppy eyes and will give him a piece of meat from their plates.

I didn't put a lot of elements of the card into the drawing because they wouldn't fit with the idea. So, in the end, I keep it four:

👑- the crown is a symbol of authority

⚽- the football ball is a reference to the orb that represents the world the emperor rules

🪑- the chair is the throne that is also a symbol of authority

🟥- the emperor use a red robe, but we are if the middle of the world cup (vai Brasil). So the chair is red to symbolize power, vitality and passion and the dog is using 💚💛 verde amarelo 💛💚.

I want to make clear that I’m not a tarot specialist.
