The Rider-Waite after taking Fashion 101 💅
“No one is born on this so called path of spirituality and spiritual service. It’s something you are called to whether you want to be on it or not. It’s a voice in your ear, reverberating through your bones until you answer it’s call. It’s the impulse to move closer when many would run away. It’s the inner knowing that you must press onward to a place where you cannot predict what happens next. It’s making a home in the uncertainty of life.”

In my second to last Patreon post I have talked about some additions on the types of readings I will be adding to my offering list when I reopen my readings in May. I’m going to be adding 3 new kinds, as well as bringing back my normal sidereal astrology & tarot readings. Availability will be limited. I’ll be sending out more info / links through my newsletter, which you can sign up for! 😘
Last news: Mercury Rx in Taurus Survival Guide is going to be my next major Patreon post for y’all. Mercury is setting up to retrograde next month and will be hitting some key degrees you’ll want to pay attention to. ✌️
Cleansing tarot cards- How it is different than cleansing other things
Tarot cards need a lot of care, respect, and energy. Sometimes whenever we disrespect our cards without knowing it, (doing tarot on the floor, not storing them correctly, not talking to them, not respecting their space, etc) we can create bad energy around the cards. This can lead to innacudate readings, repeating negative cards that don’t apply to your questions, and your cards moving by themselves or dissapearing. When I say cleanse the tarot cards, I do not mean take out their energy and make them become neutral. When you are cleansing, you choose to banish what you want and you choose the energy that stays. I always say to get rid of any negative attachments or aura so my tarot cards are happy again. Tarot cards have personalities and energies of their own. They don’t want to be treated like a regular deck of cards. You will find that your readings will become a lot more accurate when you open your ceremony with sage or incense to honor your space, cards, and to invite the right kind of energy in. Make sure you are inviting only positive or helpful entities who will do no harm and will help you guide your hand in picking the correct cards. So, don’t cleanse for neutrality, cleanse for any accidents you may have made with your tarot cards. Talk to your cards and apologize if you didn’t know you were doing things wrong. You can also put a circle of dark stones around your tarot deck to cleanse it for a day. Make sure to store it in a silk bag, in a box, in a drawer. I hope this helps!
A message from Spirit on this Autumn Equinox . . .
The Wheel reminds us there is still time to find our place in the circle of life; we should consider how our characters have been built and the wisdom we have acquired. Blue goldstone deflects negative energy and provides courage for new opportunities. The New Moon in Gemini card points out that communication is a most important factor right now. Autumn is ruled by water, a time of emotions. This is a great time to start a new mode of communication by prioritizing what is in our hearts rather than just our minds. Rose quartz is the mineral friend that encourages us to express feelings with compassion, understanding, and respect.

Strength, by Tarot Mucha
Artwork belonging to the Strength card of the Tarot Mucha. My new display picture, due to how strikingly it reminds me of Ariadne and Dionysus. The fierce love and fearless steel in the fiery-haired woman’s eyes is what I aspire to.

Giving up my femininity was something I did over and over again because I thought this was the only way to be equal to men. I have to abandon my interest on the color pink, my enthusiasm on make-up, and my disgust on getting "rough and dirty". I thought I was a feminist by suppressing my soft side.
It took me awhile to unlearn my internal misogyny and slowly reclaim my sexuality. That is why the Empress is my favorite tarot card. She embodies everything I thought I needed to avoid. She teaches me that being feminine is not awful. Liking the color pink is not weak. Wearing make-up is not seeking attention. Taking care of my skin and avoiding getting dirty is self-care and not "𝓶𝓪𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓮". I can be bold and strong without giving up my softness and compassion.
I turned 24 today (this was originally posted last January 7, 2021) and I'm trying my best to be more feminine than I was a decade ago. To whoever reads my post and reaches the end, may you also appreciate and adore your feminine side. It's all about balance. Blessed be!
