I (fucking) LOVE THIS PALETTE. Since I work in makeup retail I rarely buy big name brands online (esp since I get the discount/rewards at my store, hehe)... but I also never pay full price for a palette, either. I SNATCHED this shit up when I found the Swamp Queen (grav3yardgirl’s collab) on the Tarte website for 25$ w/free ship and couldn’t click submit faster. SO glad I did because when it came (less than 5 days later) a 10% off coupon came in the box and when I went online to use it this exact palette was now on sale for 35$ (from originally 46 or something dollars?). I’m all about saving that money!
I already have this and have used it the last three consecutive days at work and it’s FANTASTIC (the colors are nice, too!). I literally get a little heart eye-y everytime I pick this up because the packaging is WONDERFUL. I could stare at it all day. The products themselves are VERY powdery and have a ton of fall out, but I’m not sure if it’s beause the palette is so old (and selling out on clearance now) or that’s just how Tarte shadows are? I’ve never used Tarte eyeshadow before... but then again the blush and the contour are even MORE powderly than the shadows to the point where it’s hard not to mix them together in the palette. Might just be they way they’re packed? Not sure. I have other Tarte blushes in the little circle-compact things that are fine.
1000/10% would recommend because the packaging is just SO NICE!!!! I barely want to use it because I want it to sit on my vanity forever. Seriously debating getting another before they’re gone for that exact reason.
