A very purple Myrtle (Nothofagus cunninghamii) Dreadnought backplate, if anyone has any comments? @mathews_timber_sydney I bought this from your Melbourne depot and just wondering about the unusually purple colour. Myrtle beech (Tassie Myrtle, Tiger Myrtle) has different hues, but I think the fella said this lot come from NSW or QLD so maybe that’s got something to do with it? Anyway, @sam_buckley_music I’ve put a patch on the back for the belt buckle wear mate. Highlights in Huon Pine. She’s sounding beautifully crispy already! Congrats on 80 shows in a year.
