Lara Jean grew so much during these three books. She was idealistic and a hopeless romantic dreaming about her own love story and she finds her love with Peter Kavinsky and experiences the complexity that comes with being young and in love to finally grow closer to the person she wanted to be while sharing a love story that was real and grounded in something that’s true to Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky. I wanted Lara Jean’s faces to show this growth.
