HEADCANON: Tamaki has an extreme case of low self-esteem because of the fact that he couldn't form into just one weapon like the rest of the children. The other kids saw him as someone particularly strange because of this. But not Mirio Toogata. Nope, this blonde boy with a smile of sunshine came up to him and became his very first friend. (Can I also side-canon that this sparked a crush for Mirio on Tamaki's side and Nejire totally supports it? Mirio could probs be oblivious to it all.)

Awww poor son!! Thats what makes him special!! Someone hug him plssssss!! Let him know that he is amazing and good!! 

Honestly though it stinks that the kids would think that was weird? How would they not be in awe like OH WOW HE COULD DO SO MUCH?? Maybe it was deeply rooted jealousy in fact? Hmm. Teachers should have been able to realize his true potential right away, I hope.

(I dont ship the pair romantically so that part is all you my friend and I have nothing to add :/)

The reason why he was chosen? Only All Might knows.

HEADCANON: (for the electric child's b-day) On his birthday, Kiri dragged Denki to all of his favorite places in town, including GameStop to get him another Just Dance game. Little would he know that Kiri was actually distracting him the whole day to get home and find that their apartment was decorated for a Pikachu themed surprise party. There were Pikachus all over and Kiri even got Katsuki to dress up as a Pikachu as well. Safe to say, Denki had an enjoyable night and afterwards... Tee hee...

o0o0o0o is this the same party that I referenced in my bday post?? Or were there more pika parties!!! Thats not a bad thing XD

I like the idea that they got back home and everyone had a dance off while dressed as pikachus !!!  ahahahaha too cuuuuute <3
