More phasmids are hatching, including the first of a few leaf insects. Leaf insects are generally a solid dark red or black upon hatching, and over the next few days gradually turn green as they settle down and begin to feed. From top to bottom, Parapachymorpha sp. 2 "Copia NR", Phyllium hausleithneri "Tapah", and Phenacephorus sepilokensis "Tawau". The first of which must be the smallest hatchling stick insect i’ve ever seen, a few MM long.
