What are your thoughts on Maul’s new apprentice? What role do you think she’ll have in relation to Maul and do you think she’ll go back to the Jedi ways or fully commit to Maul’s views?

Based on what we see in the trailer, I think that we're coming in at very early empire days. There's a lot of resistance, the padawan still has that spark of fighting back, and the inquisitors are hot on the trail. I wouldn't be surprised if we open the show with a cold open to Maul directly after the last time we see him in "Victory and Death". So this to me tells me the padawan is likely scared, pissed, and looking for anyone they can trust. I like how scrappy she seems, and if what I said above is correct at all, I think she'll be wicked vulnerable to being pulled in different directions which, if done well, could be so interesting to watch as she grows within herself and in the world.

I think we're going to see Maul go hard into taking this lost padawan as his own or at least as an ally, similar to what he tried with Ahsoka and Ezra. I can't decide on why he wants a newly lost padawan so early. Ahsoka made sense due to her connection with Anakin. Ezra was for the sith holocron. Did he locate the holocron this early on? Does he think that any former jedi can help him topple the emperor? I doubt either of those being yes, so I'm wicked excited to see why he's taking them under his wing unfold in the show. Then to the last question - will she go back to being a jedi or commit to Maul - I honestly don't know! Like I said earlier, she's in such a vulnerable spot for being influenced, and as much as I love my post-order-66 padawan babies sticking to their jedi ways, there's something wicked delicious about watching someone take a grayer road. I don't think we'll see her go full sith, but I could envision her toeing the line of the gray jedi way!

For what it's worth, I think it does happen for everyone, and the thought of staying alone for a while might stay, but it's not a realistic one for someone who doesn't want to be alone forever, you'll find your person and I'm rooting for you

Okay I really thought that no one would care about the post, but I already had a few very nice people who are unfortunately in the same boat message me. Part of me feels happy that I am not alone in this, but it's really awful how many of us feel this way.

And I am also very thankful that I found people who don't preach "You just don't love yourself enough. If you did you wouldn't seek love from others" bullshit. I am really tired of that. This is a real struggle, especially for queer people and I really wasn't in the mood for "Why do you need someone else to love you" type of question.

Thank you all and I genuinely hope we all find someone who'll make us feel happy and loved. All of you nice people deserve that <3

I hope this doesn’t come off as rude or insensitive. I just read your post about craving love from a girlfriend and I just wanted to put out hope. As someone in a relationship (I know it sounds like I don’t understand, and to some extent I don’t), it will come. I’ve worked in a various jobs and have seen it happen at all ages. I was fortunate enough to have it happen for me in high school with someone who I later realized we kept meeting at different points in our lives (as children and as teens regardless of changing schools and various activities and friend groups). You truly never know who you’ll end up spending your time with, but just because it hasn’t happened yet or hasn’t been right yet, doesn’t mean it never will. My best friend just found someone she can see herself dating, but she’s about to move across the country. Sometimes it’s really is about timing and the stars aligning, but other times you just gotta shoot your shot. Again, I don’t know your situation and I don’t want to come off as if I understand everything you’re going through, but I hope this is at least a little helpful 🫶🏽

Don't worry, you are not coming of as rude and I needed to hear this. Yesterday was just one of those days where everything seemed much worse then it actually is and I needed to get it out. I am aware of everything you said, it's just that sometimes it's really hard to hope because it's not just lack of romantic partner, but also the reality we live in as queer people. The barrier for us is not just lack of luck or fear of rejection, but very real oppression that we face on daily basis and yesterday it all hit me like a truck. That post wasn't just a cry for love, but also frustration because I know it would be 1000000X easier if I was straight.

Regardless, I am really thankful to you and everyone else who interacted with the post. It helped me a lot and made me realize that this blog wasn't a bad idea. I was very nervous when I started it but seeing how many great people are here makes me feel great about that decision so thank you very much <3
