I'm not always brave enough to do asks off anon but I've been meaning to say this for awhile...I'm so, so happy to see someone still focusing on alola! I feel as though once a new region comes out, people tend to brush aside the previous ones? I'm glad you're sticking to what you wanna do!!!

THANK YOU, that means a lot! :’D And I can TOTALLY relate to that feeling, before Alola I really fell in love with the Hoenn remakes and constantly checked the “Team Aqua” tags. I absolutely LOVED ORAS-Team Aqua, before Gen 7 happened Archie and his team were my favorites :D But the tag slowly but steadily died down and I didn’t have it in me to do fanart and comics myself xD  I still love Team Aqua, but I think what gave me so much fuel to do these Alola Comics even after the next gen came out, was the WHOLE package that is Gen 7 :D The tropical region, the story and ESPECIALLY the characters! I love them all so much and I wanted to continue to see them grow and interact and develop! I may mainly focus on Guzma and Hau in my comics, but I actually really care about the rest of the cast as well :D (Except for Sophocles maybe...he is just...okay. Also screw you Faba) 

Also the Pokemon company was VERY generous with its additional content for Gen 7, the Anime was fantastic, the Manga was a mess but still fun in terms of Hau and Guzmas interactions, the TCG gave Guzma 4 FREAKING CARDS (which were almost a mini-story in itself), the hilarious Team Skull Commercial, the Pokemon Masters content... I’m glad I got so much content that made me love Alola even more :D And I don’t seem to be the only one, there are still a couple of very lovely artists I know that haven’t fallen out of love with the region yet and are still producing content for it! Also what followed with Gen 8 was SO disappointing, that I think I won’t have a problem to stick with Alola for even longer xD

I had an idea about the BPAU, when I was looking at your fusion concepts. When pearl fuses with someone, does she (kinda) get her voice back? And if so, will she become obsessively wanting fusion or something down that line?

nope, she still cant talk and you hear the other fusion recepients voice in a weird sort of way like malachite type but also something messing with the others voice like static or some other sound

that said when pearl gets her voice back, like a lot of her fusions in canon, their fusions would love to hear themselves talk
