Question: How can we help communicate what is going on in Taylors? What types of things should we try?
Central community bulletin board both physically as well as electronically; use Library as a communication exchange center
Community newsletter available at main areas? Given out at schools to parents.

Question: What types of ideas and programs would you like to see us financially support?
Supporting local small business in some way…competition for grants or loans?
Something to help grow Main Street—creating businesses there
Beautify Main Street
I think there should be a creative group developed to develop opportunities for online fundraising. I would love to help in any visual/artistic standpoint and already have some specific ideas that could be created for the purpose of raising awareness but also show the emotional connection to what all the Mill represents. I have a team ready to pool those ideas together (create a video), Hold a live concert, Have a silent auction - Joe Everson
Complete the 501C3 so that fundraising events may be sheltered. This will allow fundraising events that could supplement the costly upfits of the mill which, besides Taylors First Baptist, will become the centerpiece of the new renaissance community.
Setting up program for working with the community repairing and earning bicycles for kids
Community stage/performers to draw visitors on weekends. Like Shakespeare in the Park/other arts performances. Busking/musicians/student groups.

Sidewalks; Bike lanes

Public safety and monitoring
New housing developments congruent architecturally with the charm and ear historicity of Taylors Mill. Development of subdivision covenants to create an architectural expression that produces a lasting legacy.
Keeping new business development withint Taylors community standards

Question: What situations do you see us being to help by holding land for the public interest?
Attract small business to Main Street Taylors /Wade Hampton. Beautify both areas.

CHICK SPRINGS—six acres for a community park; activities, festivals, concerts, etc.*****

Question: Through things such as TownSquare meetings, how can we help foster relationships in Taylors?
Encourage City of Greenville, Greer, etc. to lend support (not necessarily financial) more of a public awareness to attract businesses to the whole area. Not us v. them, but rather WE!
August festival, “Taylors Fair” cook off, dessert competition, etc.
