Whenever I’m drawing Silco’s hair, all I can think about is:

Watching Arcane as I write and like…

Do you think that swing on the cargo ship in episode 4 means that Jinx was probably on those ships pretty young?

Especially in the early days of Silco’s empire. He probably had to go on those excursions himself and was like “crap, how do I keep a little girl preoccupied while I’m making shady deals?”

And the doodles inside the ship also imply that Jinx goes on those trips pretty frequently, too. Kind of a well duh thought, tho haha 😅

Already at 20 pages for chapter 2 of Glitter and Gold and still have like 1-2 more scenes to write.

So, real question: you want me to break this up and upload earlier or wait to post in full.

Going to be completely honest and say that a lot of this chapter is to carry over motivations/history into the main storyline and is very OC heavy.

Glitter and Gold chapter 2: The Sisters

Ilya toes the line between keeping out of trouble and thwarting her new suitor. Her father seems to believe attending a luncheon with her married sister will not only keep her out of trouble but somehow sway Ilya into accepting her new husband. However, the blood that binds them is made more of chains than love.
