The iconic clone trio of Rebels in their Clone Wars armor. Look at their glory days!
TBB-era Rex and his poncho #HisPoncho
Personally, I love to see Anakin and Obi-Wan's influence on both their trusted Clones 💙🧡
The way Rex questioned authority because it was the right thing to do in the Umbara arc, to save his squad, his brothers, from Pong Krell and how he became the leader of the Clone revolution or the clones that are trying to survive the empire reminds me a lot of Anakin, well, always being reckless but ultimately for good reasons bc he knew following orders blindly didn't get to good things always.
And with Cody it's not as noticeable because he doesn't have as much screen time but the man had some integrity even working under imperial orders, he didn't want to kill people just because and he Negotiated™ with the people he was sent to deal with in Desix and Crosshair killing the governor is ultimately what made him go AWOL. Like, as soon as I saw him put his blaster down and try to talk it through I couldn't help but think of the Negotiator himself, Obi-Wan Kenobi. They're small things but I think the parallelism is there.
