Hi all! My Name is Sister Niamh Hopkins! I'm a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, working in Uganda! It's a long way from home but I'm hoping that with the other elders here I'll be able to make the most of my time here! I saw that some of the guys on here and thought I'd join the party! though I am a bit late and i'm a little nervous cuz i'm pretty sure i'm the only girl -///- ... I'm trying to convince my mission partner to get an account too, but she's fairly offline and i had to explain to her what tumblr even was! So it might be a while before i convince her :[ That being said, I'm super excited and i can't wait to start posting on here :>

Some things about me! - I'm originally from Melbourne, In Australia! I grew up there, but when my parents converted into the church they moved us to Utah to be more involved with it and i've spent most of my mid-to late teens there! I love America... but i do really miss some of the stuff back home. Mostly my friends :( - Me and my mission sister are currently the only girls in district nine! Girls and Boys aren't really supposed to share the same living spaces on missions, but because there's no female living space in the district they made an exception! - My parents wanted me to be a missionary. It's optional for girls, but since they don't have a son, they encouraged me to do it... Don't get me wrong, i've had a great time and all, and met heaps of new people, but i miss home a lot, and if i had the choice i probably wouldn't have chosen to go along with it...

Anyway! That's all I gotta say for now! Buh Bye!
