New to the glade pt.1
Imagine: you are new to the glade and the only girl. You basically replace when Teresa comes up. You become best friends with newt Thomas and Minho. You start to develop a crush on newt but ever since you came up alby and gally have forbidden you to have any “relationship stuff”. Too bad for you😂
I was sleeping. Dreaming of some woman saying the same thing over and over in my head. “WCKD is good”
Suddenly I woke up due to a nightmare feeling like I was drowning. I jumped as I saw a load of teenage boys surrounding me in higher ground. One of them jumped down and looked at me puzzled. He had soft dirty blonde hair, dark brown eyes and a smile that could make your day. He laughed at my puzzled face and helped me to my feet. “Where am I?”
“Hell” he replied “a hell we call the glade”
“Who are you?” I said climbing to the grassy land where the other boys where stood.
“Newt” he answered with his soft English accent “what do you remember?”
“Well- huh- why can’t I remember anything!”
“It’s okay” said a voice in the background “ happens to us all. Names alby”
I took a quick look around me and realised that there where gigantic metal walls surrounding us.
“ I’ll show you around- common” alby said in a comforting voice.
As I walked away with ably I noticed the boys mention me being a girl and why am I here. I felt worried.

After a long tour with alby it had gone dark. He had told me all about the maze. He had showed me around to people and given me a place to sleep.
I sat down leaning on a tree next to the closed doors knowing there has to be a way out, and I would find it.
Suddenly the boy who I was introduced to as Minho sat next to me. I jumped over in shock.
“You want to be a runner don’t you?” His soft voice echoed through the maze.
“I need to find a way out, we can’t stay here forever, can we?”
“No” he replied “ greenie, the maze is a dangerous place to be, especially for a girl”
“Just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean I’m not as strong and fast as you!” I shouted at him.
He laughed.
“Well anyway the reason I came he was to say alby wanted everyone at the gathering” he giggled “follow me”
I jumped up to my feet and followed Minho.

“Let me get this clear” alby spoke in a serious tone “we have a girl now, and what does this mean, it means no one has to-”
“No one will touch her! Or have any sexual contact or conversations with her!” Gally interrupted “we can’t let this stop us from our purpose!”
“Um… yes gally thanks for that” alby laughed. “This is a new rule we must inforce”
Everyone looked at me. i gave a confused look.
“Greenie!” I jumped as gally shouted to me “rule goes for you to” he calmed his tone.
I nodded and looked over at newt who was still staring. He looked at the floor when I saw him glancing. I gave a little chuckle. He must have heard me and he smiled at the floor.
